Glue ?

I broke a mates handle off her mug and need to fix it as it's sentimental.

Odd request, but what's the best glue to use? Superglue never works in my experience (other than for sealing wounds).

Anyone?

I hate repairing mugs, I usually just buy a new one, as the handle will usually come off again sooner or later, usually when I'm carrying a hot cup off coffee with it

Can you get specialist crockery and china glue?

Araldite will do it

Its probably pointless trying to fix it, you'll still see a hairline crack around the edge no matter what type of glue you use.

Locktite does work... I broke the handle off my mug here about half a year ago... stick it back and leave it for the rest of the day to stick properly - don't put it in the dishwasher.

Not rapid. Generally the longer the glue takes to set, the stronger the bond will be.

Araldite Rapid will go soft at hot drink temps. Precision will be OK.
