Hi guys,

When I had the Nexus 6 it came with the latest version of Gmail that allowed me to use Outlook email addresses with it and have them set to 'Push' but on my current Note 4 the best I can choose is sync every 15 minutes?

Note 4 shows I'm on Gmail 5 so not sure why the difference, any idea's?

My nexus 5 on kitkat didn't have exchange on gmail, but it appeared once I updated to android 5.0. I suspect that the functionality is only available on 5.0 for now. That APK is probably the app that is enabling it that comes with 5?

Yup, the app is preinstalled with Lollipop on Nexus devices. This has been extracted and works fine with previous Android versions.

Download the APK file onto your phone. Then, go into "Settings" -> "Security" and tick "Unknown sources". Now use a file manager app, find the APK you downloaded and then install it. Then force stop Gmail in the app settings, so when you run the app again it will detect the exchange app you just installed.

Worked perfectly on 4.4.4 TW :)
