I just went onto vodalive, manually entered the url: http://gmail.com and logged in. Read, sent and received mail - worked well. In fact, thanks for the headsup!
Crazy Fool said:is that the same? i went to gmail.com/app and downloaded the java application that sits in my applications folder, so i don't goto the internet to get the connect, although it does use the internet

Crazy Fool said:yeah it says us/can but works fine on my O2 k750i, it is 100 times better than the normal one, it works like a java app and is so easy to use, log in once and once only... you guys are missing out!![]()
Pug said:installed it earlier today, went on fine, no probs - and is a lot nicer than the wap version, again w900i, Voda
darn thing even opened some attached word files i had - well impressed, and pulled all my email contacts from my gmail account!

Crazy Fool said:yeah it's so much easier to use, makes the normal mobile phone one looks like a pile of pants, i check my mail all the time now![]()
Pug said:having read Crazy Fools post, about Gmail, i did some more digging, and found google maps java now.
www.google.com/gmm and install. Not only does it give you a mpa of any area you request (quite slow to download, but hey ho) but also does stepwise directions. Kinda like satnav but not knowing where it is! Very handy tho when you;re stuck.
