Gmail Spam

Has anyone else been receiving a fairly large amount of spam in their Inbox with Gmail of late? Usually everything goes straight through to Spam but the past week or so I've been receiving about 10 a day with similar styled titles etc.

Anyone know of any news or issues with Google that could be causing this?

Mods: Feel free to move this to a better forum - I just thought this would get the most responses in the quickest time.

No problems with spam at the moment, it is still directed straight to the spam folder.

My proper google apps accounts have never had a single spam email in over 9 months.

However my gmail spam accounts get 60+ spams per day.

I just be careful where I enter my Google Apps addresses and use Gmail addresses for suspicious stuff.

Wouldn't quite go that far, with my apps account I perhaps get a couple spam messages a week that make it passed the filter.

I get over 100 spams in my spam folder everyday on gmail but only recently has spam been getting into my regular inbox, got about 5 today, gmail better sort this out or I'm getting a divorce.

A few weeks ago i was getting nearly around 150 spam through gmail,within the past week i'm down to 10 a day.
Most of the crap was loan certificate applications!!

Getting more in my spam box than I used to, not that I've been putting the address about. At least it stays there though, all of them about, erm, phallic circulatory enhancement pills...

To be honest, my MSN NEVER gets spam, even in my spambox. I've had it for about 9 years, and signed up to all-sorts, and I've not had a single spam email. I think it got upgraded to the paid service for free, because I've been with them so long, and it's still @msn.com

There's a Spam outbreak at the moment, same as July last year. Hopefully this time it isn't a Virus outbreak too

I'm getting a fair few a day with links directing me towards medication sites.

They all have sites.google.com or docs.google.com links within them.

Nearly all of them get through my Outlook 2003 rules somehow and don't automatically get moved to the Junk folder. However, when i 'run rules now' they move.
