GNER trains first class

Last time I went first class I genuinely didnt feel it was worth the effort of the extra 10 quid.

I've done that journey MANY times and 1st class is much better... for all the reasons above really, though I go on to B temple Meads now. I like I can walk into the buffet cart and get a nice coffee and snack in the morning. More space, comfort and it's just more relaxing. I like to read my maths books, and don't like a kid crying or some builder sat next to me, saying in a very deep voice "alright fella is a laptop you got there".

Not snobby before you shout it at me....

I suppose that's true, but I'm still completely at a loss to understand why you went off on one because I travel first class to avoid noisy babies.

Although it will run on OO track it will look slightly smaller than British outline OO models.

HO is 3.5mm:1ft and OO is 4mm:1ft, for some reason it was decided to use the same track gauge as HO for OO models which effectively means OO is narrow gauge.
