Trying to get the gnome stay in the car on Half life 2 episode 2 but he keeps flying out

I have tired looking at some guides but the little feller keeps bailing out of the car any ideas ?

Put gnome on car seat.

Get in the car.

You will be sitting on the gmome and it will not move.

May/may not actually work.

It would be pretty funny if that was a cut scene and launching a gmome into space onboard a rocket was a pivotal moment in the half life storyline

It wont stay. It just takes a really, really long time.

You can also run the course without a car.
