Went to the Delamee one and it was excellent. It took a few hours as I was with a group. Great fun and not particularly physically difficult but better than sitting on the forums.
If you look at the map of each site - they have varying zipline lengths and max. heights etc. Also they have different obstacles at each of the two sites I went to - possibly half the same, the other half were completely (variation on a theme, of course) different.
I went, it was really good. The week after, at a centre somewhere someone did die, apparently the cable on a zip wire came loose and the lad smashed into a toilet block.
Not heard any other incidents tho, so you'll probably be fine.
It is good but make sure you check the weather forecast as last time I went it started raining half way through, and with lightning predicted they cancelled and called everyone in without giving a refund.
did this in dalby forest ,i like the fact that we were told if you dont listen to the safety session you may end up a cripple or 6ft under as there is no further supervision ,must admit i paused at the death drop thing
not me random image from google btw
Went last weekend with my girlfriend to the one in thetford forest!
You get a brief induction on how the harness works and then you're left pretty much on your own. Took us around 3 hours to get around the course. Fairly scary stuff if you've never done anything like it before imo.
Cracking day out though even if parking cost £7.50 on top of the £60!!!
Done one and it is great if there are a few of you...
Pushed my brother-in-law forward when they wanted a volunteer for the safety brief. It meant that we all went next for the brief and then had no-one to follow around the course and could go at our own pace.
