Go Carting

I'd go-go-go-go karting.

If it's a proper open space track then it's one of the most fun things i've done. The cars hit around 30mph which doesn't seem fast but when you get a lot of people, it's excellent fun.

Search for Buckmore Park.

Although judging by most of your threads it seems you don't know what Google is.

Twin-engined Pro Karting is considered a step-up from indoor Karting. They are professional racing machines powered by 2 unrestricted 160cc Honda 4 stroke engines and whilst they are capable of speeds up to 70mph, their 2 pedal operation makes them very easy to drive.

I went there a couple of months ago, it was dark, cold and we had terrential rain. I've never had so much fun in all my life, although there were a few moments where i just had to shut my eyes and hope for the best... proper brown pants moments!

Peter above says normal ones do 30mph.

I am assuming he meant that the one in Oxford is one such 'normal speed.'

No idea if the Oxford one is the same at Teesside Autodrome.

I was just saying that Teesside had normal karts ;) But as it was on a proper circuit, it was great fun. If it's on any other type of layed out piece of track then it probably wont be as good.

Doran, I went to Oxford karting a few weeks ago with work for our Xmas party and had a wail of a time in the wet.....pure drifting fun!!!

I have heard that Milton keynes has twin engine karts capable of 70mph....I guess this is exaggerated, but I have heard it's miles better with a bigger track...might be worth checking it out??

That circuit sucks. Go to Daytona in Milton Keynes. It might cost a bit more, but it's brilliant, especially on their 'International Circuit' which is 1.5km long and the karts go up to 70mph!

Milton Keynes is great, my old man and I went there for some Audi charity due. Got to race Clarkson, Tiff, The Stig and many more, brilliant track layout too.
