Because your up your own arse in most of your threads, posts and even if you are correct then your just plain rude and arrogant about it. here again your throwing "im a doctor dont you know" at us, need i say more? nothing more than an arogant ego complex without the ability to even try and be understanding over another persons POV? "my daughter has a REAL phobia, you DONT yak yak yak". Heres an idea, try and be understanding.

Maybe I should start a thread "why are all doctors such arogant pigs" on a doctors forum and instantly shoot people down in other threads.

Now im going to await the abuse I get back with a massive box of popcorn :)

I'm sure the people with their reasons could quote up here and expain why. No reason to tell someone they are wrong based on age, although I'm not sure that's the case.

I don't think you come across in that manner in your posts, then again I'm approaching the 40 limit and tend to be a bit more chilled now.
If you are getting abusive emails, then I'd forward them to a Don, these people don't have to read the threads let alone email you abuse.

Idd, no problem having an attitude problem with somebody, but most certainly abuse from e-mails is totally out of order. No questions, report it, especially if the e-mail was gained from here.

I've got a while to go before I hit 40 but I agree with what Fullspizz says here.

I cannot comment on your posting in Music as I don't recall having read any of them but I have no issue with the content or tone of any of the ones I've read in GD.

Maybe you should read the post properly and understand the sarcasm, dmpoole isn't a doctor at all. If your take an active interest in his posts, which assuming you do as your call him arrogant and up his own in all his threads you would know what he did for a living.

Despite the fact his very opening post confirms his occupation. Some people :rolleyes:

I certainly read it as one.

Personally i've found your posts useful for pointing out to friends an insiders point of view on why they shouldn't buy certain white goods above and beyond personal experience. Always struck me as one of the blokes on here you could sit down and have a pint with.

How about, no it wasn't :) As you would have seen if you read my post. I don't hold grudges against people, but clearly he is irritating people enough that somebody is sending these e-mails, so if he is doing something wrong then he needs to know. All I have said is my view from what i have seen of his posts, thats all. Its not an attack, its just what I have seen, with examples and reasoning.

I don't dislike him, i just think he needs to look at his attitude, if its unintentional then the Internet fails again and conveying meaning.

Its a fight club moment for you buddy, you are not a unique and beautiful *********, you are a ex washing machine factory worker who sings in a pub band.

Your opinion has no more weight in any subject or discussion than anybody else's.

Join the club, you just have to stand by what you think and get over it.
 
dmpoole, I can't speak for everyone but I find your posts level headed and informative in the whole.

Then again I've got to a point in my life where I've got some life experience (not as much as yourself), have learnt that I don't know everything and the people to look up to are the ones with more experience.

Maybe you just upset a few of the teenagers who think they know it all or people with anger issues. :p

Dont really care about his posts, I certainly don't go hunting them down. All I went on on is what I have seen, thats all. Apologies for gettign the proffession mixed up, but use the doctor thing as an example thats all.
