GO SB or wait for Bulldozer

Good call,

Hopefully Cebit will answer many questions on Bulldozer, the new 9 series motherboards and what competition those pre order ocz Vertex 3 drives have.

People know very little about the actual of performance of bulldozer therefore they cannot comment on whether you should buy it or not.

Your just gonna have to wait and see like the rest of us

I'd rather get hardware that's been out for a few months and people have had first hand experiences with than plunge straight in for new hardware.

.... On the other hand, new hardware usually means little price wars

:)

I'll be building my gaming rig at the start of september (B'day 26/08 so by time everything gets here wll be september) so by then BD should off been out for a while i have most my commponents sorted in my head just waiting now to see what upgrades will be out then

There's no point really in touching SB until the B3 revisions are available, unless you're absolutely desperate and don't mind the inconvenience of having to replace the motherboard soon.

I'd agree 100% because bulldozer could be as good as sandybrigde and potentially cost less money .

No, I highly doubt a brand new AMD CPU architecture is gonna be cheaper than sandy bridge. At best it will be priced very close, Intel could have priced SB higher but I think it wanted the edge on AMD knowing this year would be a big one for them. I am not convinced yet that AMD could make a new CPU on par with the 2500/2600 series, BUT anything is possible. Just a waiting game now haha...
