7 days ago, I was a 'Jack the lad', 'Man about town', still in my 20's, young and fancy free.

In the space of a week, im a 30 year old Dad.

Christ - my 20th birthday seems a long time ago.....

Shame that the birthday present I really wanted - to bring my wife and son home - looks like it wont happen until tomorrow.

Oh well.

Thanks. I had a bit of an OTT pre-birthday celebration last night, so im not exactlyu feeling tip-top at the moment.

:hangover smiley:

*Splashes water in face* Your 30 years old, barely old! You've got a lot of life in you. Now you have a child, you need to adjust your life a bit. You have to find a new way to have fun, playing with your kid? Going out with wife? Never look back, always look forward

So you will be 40 when your son is 10.
Sounds about perfect to me dude. I am 41 and looking forward to taking my Grandson to footy matches, teaching him to drive, and using him as an excuse to pull women. Lifes great mate no matter what age you are, it's just down to how you look at things.

Gratz on the Son.

Actually, I feel a lot better now.

Had an Alka Seltzer and a can of coke. Going to have a birthday fry up in a few minutes, then the new Grandparents are visiting to see their grandson for the first time (and hopefully bring me presents ;))

By christ, im even optimistic about Wolves getting 3 points this weekend.

Pip Pip!

Lol. Good quote.

I am 32 next birthday and don't fret about it, although turning 30 was a milestone.

I always thought you were aged between 19 and 25 :o

I'll be 34 in 13 days time :(, not looking forward to it though...hopefully none of my family will make a big fuss. No longer feeling young anymore, slowing down with old age now:p....damn what i would do to be young, single and fancy free :p.
