Football Manager 2007.

If you want a challenge, try to get a conference team into the premiership without using FMscout.

Or if you want a complete walkover just trying to make the most uber club ever, try Chelsea with FMscout.

I found out today that it has a tactic and player recommendation thing, so literally it can be used to play the game for you.

I have recently dug out and re-installed Far-Cry (all in anticipation of Crysis)
It's still a cracking game is Far Cry

Also have Splinter Cell - Chaos Theory back on my HD (gotta love this game)

I agree there is a lack of new quality out there at the moment.

I dont buy into all this mmorpgs nonsense - (i can only allocate so much time in one week to gaming not 24/7 as i have heard mmorpgs take from you) - not my cup of tea anyway.

C'mon Crysis and BioShock - please hurry !!!!!

Meh Im getting bored too. No time to play wow, and no interesting games out at the moment :/

Played through KOTOR/II, Indy Jones etc again this week but I'm losing interest. Grrrr.

You pc must be unstable: i've played this for hours and hours this week and not a single crash or bug yet, CoH got boring for me after about 20 hours of playing it, cos it has too few of everything, supcom just gets better the more i play it, i discover new stuff every time i play it, least there you can use huge armies and not the tiny 20 vs 20 or something battle.

IMo the best modern rts game is SUPCOM, followed by CoH, but it are 2 different styles, for me, CoH is just an a way too small scale, i liek throwing hundreds of tanks into battles, nukes, aircraft, etc...

At first when i played I wasn't impressed, i've left supcom for a month or 2, just started it playing again this week, and now i can't stop, and realizing the mistakes i made when I 1st started it...

What makes me lol is everyone knows there's hardly anything coming out on the PC and the good stuff that people mostly play i.e CSS is years old, However people are still £100's on the latest video car etc.

What's the point?

You know what they say if you can't beat'em join'em, Buy a 360 (less than a 8800) and start playing new games

I do think that the PC will rise again, they can't keep the ultimate platform down for long, but undoubtedly the PC games scene is dead atm.

PC gaming scene has been dieing over the past 4 years, its been totally dead for the past couple.

The last decent game I can remember coming out was AOE3 and HL2. Theres no money in PC games anymore if people warez them

It as nothing to do with warez, warez are available for every computer and console.

Trouble with the PC is it as become a money pit and people are begining to get fed up with throwing money in to it. This generation of consoles can easily match the PC for gaming at a fraction of the cost with no more upgrades or Vista to buy just to play the next new game.

You have to remember when the PC faced the last generation of consoles people didn't have LCD TV's so no HD gaming and they were'nt online out of the box, PC components were also cheaper (top end video cards were never £500+)

UT3 maybe but not crysis, but PC gaming will take off again, its always like this when a new console is released, everyone says its gonna die but it always picks up again, With dx10 round the corner there will be loads of new games coming out late 07 and onwards.

I would rather play it on a PC, most proberbly it will look better on a PC too and unless you can use a Mouse and Keyboard on the Xbox 360 I wouldent go near the Xbox 360 version of UT3, same for crysis.

crysis isnt coming out for 360? They have already said its not powerful enough.

which is good news as ive felt a bit bored aswell lately and my 8800 sits idle most of time

try the skirmish mode?
my pc is fine when i install supcom i can play skirmish once
then after that it just crashes every time i have 4300 @3.2ghz orthos stable
7600 gt @600/1500 stable latest drivers aaks wd sata2 clean install
it's the game not the hardware.

My 8800 dont play much anymore, my CPU and Ram have doomed it to a boring life
