GOG Adds Oddworld Series

The chaps over at CD Projekt continue to add to their DRM-free game download line-up at GoG.com with today's announcement that they have the rights to two of the Oddworld series of games from developer Oddworld Inhabitants. Today GoG.com is offering Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee for download for $9.99. The download not only includes the game but its soundtrack, wallpapers and a world map. GoG.com will also release another game in the series, Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus, in the near future

The Feeble Files, which some of you may remember as Floyd, is a point-and-click adventure game by Adventure Soft. The protagonist, aptly named Feeble, works at the Crop Circle Division of the Ministry of Galactic Uncertainty and makes a living off sowing paranoia among undeveloped races in the name of progress. Time has been very kind on Screamer, as the game hasn't aged as much as its release date would suggest. With the fast-paced races, bright, contrasting colors, hypnotizing engine sounds and a hyperactive commentator, you won't even notice the graphics are over ten years old. If you're looking for a 100% realistic driving simulator, you won't find it here. But if you want a dynamic arcade racing experience, packed with improbable power slides and burning rubber, it will be hard to find a better game than Screamer. And don't forget you can also play with friends, over a LAN or the Internet.
