GOG , Good Old Games - Official Thread

ahh i must be the only one for whom nostalgia is better just being how i remembered the games at the time, rather than how it feels to play them again now.

I recently required Duke Nukem 3D and was a bit surprised by how bad it looks to my jaded eyes these days. Mind you, the first time around I wasn't exactly playing it at 1920 x 1200 resolution.

Hot off the press, we've just been informed by GOG.com that they have not only overhauled the site, but have also gone down the route of DRM free movies. GOG who were originally all about the classic games, have had a number of changes over the years especially with the inclusion of not just classics but also Indie titles. Today the creators behind GOG have given the website a make over that not only looks more up to date with fancy features, but also has improved performance. But this is not all they have introduced!

It's linked to us because we are affiliated with gog :)

I LOVE the way D3D looks, its perfect in every way IMO. Then again, I still play GLQuake... And that still looks perfect too

Graphics don't need to be billion polygon giga-textured DoF fests to make great games ;)
