Having it done by a Mini Specialist by the name of, yup, Lohens.

Once I get a bit older, I have various other mods mechanically in mind, including the ECU remap with a Bluefin chip... gonna speak to the chaps tomorrow, and get a date to get them fitted and ill post pics once its done :D

All for around £90 inc Vat/Labour

It'll lower the market appeal when you come to sell it, spent it on real upgrades instead.

Has no impact for me, ill be part chopping it in for a new one eventually anyway directly through Mini again :)

To be honest with you, there are SO many MINIs about (in this area anyway) that i'm all for people trying to make them look different with funky graphics.

The thing i cannot stand is i saw a ruined MINI one the other day.
It also had 's' badges on it - did they make a One 'S'?

Who are Lohen and how much are they paying you to advertise their company on your car?

My thoughts exactly! Seems a strange thing to put on your car, it's not as if it's a well known tuning company like Nismo etc (Or are they? Clearly they're not though :p)

I'd just go with the side stripe in the first pic personally...

Looks really good on the black mini with tints there, although it does look like a display model :P What colour is yours?

I like the side vinyl, toyed with the idea of getting the 'Cooper S' one for mine. Lohen is well known within mini circles.

I not keen on stripes, but they look better on a mini than they do on damn fiesta st's or suzuki swifts

I reckon stripes can look spot on on ST's depending on colour scheme! theres a blue and white one on here somewhere that looks perfect!

Living in Essex I see an ST with stripes every other minute! got to be almost as common as minis. IMO It just looks like ford have copied what mini has done to make cars different.

Last time I looked the fiesta does not resemble a dodge viper.

The mini stripes I dont mind are the ones that are angled with the bonnet (ala the original mini). The viper stripes I do not condone.

You do realise the Austin/Rover mini had bonnet stripes and roof patterns?

Hence why the new mini has them. ;)

Ah viper stripes, I was referring to the stripes running along the lower skirt of the body like the OP is having done. Viper stripes aren't what i would call ridiculous on ST's, swifts however look embarassingly bad with stripes.

Remember to declare it to your insurance company - in their eyes its like having a big sticker saying "steal me, I'm more valuable than standard".
