So seems like a new pair of fronts with upfiring might be the best place to start.
They'd need to be bookshelf type to sit to the side of the TV on a TV stand.

There's the smaller 265T, but those bigger 365T from the auction site are the ones I'd go for, on sale you're looking at £753 for LCR

They're internet direct. THat's why a 4 driver 3 way center THX Ultra is £215. I own a couple of their subs and they're fantastic.

What sub do have at the moment? If it's the q acoustics I'd upgrade that, for a smaller room the 10" monoprice is good at £408.

BK subs are old design, like 10 years or so. May have buzzing and humming porblem. Good finish though, and made in the UK.

I have bought the 10" monoprice it's a great sub

If you can only go single one option is the 12", that'll give you more impact than the 10"
