Don't play on a pve.

Pvps have higher pops and ganking is really a non issue at 70 where it matters.

In fact killing people is half the fun while leveling, pve is just far too boring and vastly underpopulated, which you will find out if you go horde and theres only one or two raiding guilds at 70.

Go pvp!

If you install your original CD's you'll have about 1gig to download, otherwise I think it's about 4gb. Either way the download speed is not that great

Not actually true.

Draenor (pve) is rumoured to be the BEST server for pvp and pve when wrath comes. Simply because there alliance to horde ratio is 12k/12k. There is no other server as good as that.

Yeah Im on Rampage - Its very good, you wouldnt be let down by that choice.

I think Cyclone is supposed to be more competitive, however it depends on who you talk to really.

doesnt really bother me as Im not good enough to get to the top in either

Just remember wow was made for PvE. PvP is a side aspect.

TBH, PvE or PvP (server) barely matters, world PvP is dead. It's all about Arenas and BG's now, half the time people just sit on flying mounts in the air and you can't even attack them.

Because saying it will be the best now and based just on numbers is nonsensical to me. You have no idea how it’s going to work out.

Remember is a PvE server and people joined for that, not world PvP. The mix means nothing if half the Horde don’t play or they are no good at it.

I'm in rampage, everything but AV is horde winning AV is about 75% Alliance

World PvP died because people became solely interested in getting Epics and World PvP serves up none. The new area does, which means it has a better chance of being played but it’s still impossible to say how it will play out.

It's pretty simple... people go where the rewards are. In TBC they jam packed the rewards into arena with the older kids hand me downs into bgs, so that is why everyone is there and places like Halaa don't get used.

The new area does have rewards, but unless they are of the same calibre of the arena / bg hand me down rewards, as well as having its rewards updated to match newer seasons, then it will be Halaa #2.

Funny how people's memories play tricks on them

World PvP died out a long time before BGs were introduced, it's just not fun after the first few times. Even the gank teams got bored.

Still seem to be a lot of Gank teams on my realm, lots of PvP in the contested Zones and Teams in the higher ranked area's. I think it really boils down to what realm you are on. The realm i was on 3 years ago seems to be dead. Nothing happening at all, hence why i started a new Char in a different realm.
