Going for Gold!

wonder if the 4 pin/cpu lead is long enough my one on my AX850 was still tad short

Strange given the fact they should know people are gonna route at the back !

They're always too short. You would think by now they would know most people mount their PSU at the bottom of the case.

just about most cases are bottom so yeah they should have made it longer considering all top cases are cable managed a lot better so its to go behind the case.

Guess they still got engineers to work out the kinks !

Why do you need a modular 24pin and 4+4 pin cable?

YOU MUST USE THESE FOR ANY DESKTOP PC TO WORK!

Fully modular is handy depending on case, and would be a godsend for my system due to EPS12V connection location and component combination.

The amount of times I've had to balance PSU precariously while cleaning or exchanging parts made me envious of the ability to just disconnect leads from PSU.

???

My "old" HX650 is bottom-mounted with the 4+4pin routed behind the mobo without any issues (although there's not a lot of spare TBH). And that's in a Bitfenix Colossus, which as the name suggests, is quite large.

I can't imagine they've shortened any leads on these new models.
