Hello.Ok Im thinking of upgrading my GPU from a 3850HD 512mb.Now the thing is my CPU is a OCZ Stealth XStream 600W PSU - SLI Ready but it only has 18amps on the 12v rail.I recently had a 8800GTS in my sysyem for a couple of days and that was ok,BUT it only has a single power connector where as the GTX have 2 connectors. So will the PSU handle a GTX or any GPU needing 2 power connectors.Oh my system has an C2D 2180 clocked at 3ghz,2 HD's and DVD rewriter.Cheers

What GPU would you guys recommend I recently got my self a 42" Full HD set and gaming at 1080p looks SWEEEET.So a card that can handle that res is obviously a must.I have about £120 to play with maybe slightly more for the right card and it HAS to be NVidia.

No sorry my PSU does have 2 6 pin connectors I was meaning that the GTS only requires 1 and the GTX requires 2.I was just asking wether or not the PSU is good for the latest and greatest GPU's.

currently on special offer XFX GeForce GTX 260 "Core 216 55nm" £149.99.

if you can't afford to get it at the moment theres an EVGA GeForce GTX 260 for £144.

I heard that the XFX's have the fan speed stuck at 100% all the time,is that correct?

How long are those cards.I had a 8800Ultra in my setup for a bit and I just managed to fit it in there.

Im waiting on a refund from an e-bay member(bought a 8800GTX in excellent condition NOT)my 3rd NVidia card from the bay in 2 weeks so Im thinking I may aswell get a new one and hopefully save the hassle.I may go for the XFX 260.Is there a big difference between the 260 and the 250?

1920x1080 res my 3850HD seems to run pretty good at the 1080 res but I think its time for a change.Iv had this card about a year and a half

So I could maybe get a second hand 8800GTX on the bay for £80 are you saying that it would be on a par at least with a GTX 280?
