Going from a decent 5.1 to soundbar?

Re `Wireless Speakers`
None of them are really are they? I mean they all need a power cable so are not`wireless`

Well yeah, but you're likely to have plug sockets near where you want them and don't have to run cables from the tv accross the room from a receiver. Bit like saying my wireless phone charger isn't wireless because it requires power. It's a stupid argument.

If a product is stated as wireless it should be WIRELESS surely :)
Saying it is wireless and needing power wires is MORE STUPID:rolleyes:

The wireless aspect just means the data is sent wirelessly. How else would you want them? battery charged with the potential to run out mid-film when it degrades after a few years?

Some of them are. They dock into the soundbar to charge then you move them when you are using them.

I can't remember who but I think it may have been LG that made truly wireless but I'm sure @lucid knows what I'm talking about.
