Going from Roaming profile to Local Profile

What is the correct and/or the preferred way of turning off roaming profiles?

Am I correct in thinking that deleting the path on the profile box and then on the machine with a cached copy of the profile changing it to local?

I would say yes, althoguh I can not test at the moment. So you will need to test with a single test user first!

From memory, if the profile path is blank, when a user logs in they will use the local profile (if it exsists), if not a new one will be created. So you may need to change the profile to local on the client before you clear thier profile path in order to preserver the current profile settings and not wipe them out with a new blank profile.

I would also take a look at once converted.
