Going into OcUK tomorrow

Akasa Amber or Vantec Stealth because OcUK don't have Panaflos, otherwise I would have said Panaflo.

Here here. Vantec stealths can be noisy if you have a badly perferated grill in front of them though

get yourself a couple of those and you will be ready to make your very own black hole, light cant even escape the force of those deltas

on a more serious note i reccomend the akasa ambers

Looked at the Akasa and the YS-Tech the Delta is just insane! Will get 1 of each of the Vantec and Akasa.

Thx for the replies.

Panaflo 120mm x 38mm but unfortunately OcUK don't sell them. Its a great fan with excellent CFM/noise ratio and the extra 13mm width gives it a bit more force behind the air. Its also the fan Thermalright officially recommend for the XP-120.

Ive got the Panaflo 120 x 25mm that does 115cfm..

I thought more CFM was better than more pressure ?

Can anyone tell me if im correct or not :)

Im about to order some more panaflo's you see, ive already got Three 120x25mm's in my case all 115cfm.

But im wanting to stick another fan over the top of the rear case fan to create lots of negative pressure and force even more air out, ive currently got my Scythe Ninja fan attached to the 120mm rear case fan , but the Ninja fan doesnt spin very fast and pushes little air :(

Your both right and wrong.

It depends what the fan is going to be used for... Something like a radiator or heatsink with a high density of fins needs high pressure to get the air through it.
A case fan which is just moving air doesnt *need* to be high pressure (although it can help overcome resistance to airflow due to the cases design)

Cheers,

I find the extra pressure works well on heatsinks with lots of fins. More CFM usually means more noise. Your 115cfm fan is 41dB. My 69cfm fan is only 30dB. Its not done my temps any harm. My P4 3.0c northwood rarely goes over 40c and goes as low as 27c when idle.
