Going naked

I used to use the standard apple bumper and a zagg shield but it got really tacky in the end and was just annoying me, ive now ripped off the zagg and the bumper and bought a Sena ultra slim sleeve instead which is pure awesome :)

although i do now have the slight worry in the back of my head that i may one day drop the phone outside of its sleeve....

Had a naked iPhone4 while i waited for my free case, I love the aesthetics of the phone, so chose the incase clear snap on case. Still looks gorgeous and offers that extra bit of protection. But i was seriously seriously careful with my phone when it did not have the case.

I went from Bumper + Invisisheild to naked and it's fine. The iphone 4 has been dropped loans and no scratches. I think the glass is a lot more durable than my old 3g.

I'm not too concerned about scratched because it only has to last another 11 months before I upgrade to the iphone 5. :)

I have an Iphone 4 and Ipad, have used both in cases for around a week but nothing beats them being without the cases, both have screen protectors now and invisiable shield backs.

With the cases on your not getting the full Apple experience imho

It's just a phone after all - I've never bothered with a case and I generally try not to drop the phone. The phone gets a few digs and scrapes, but it still works and that to me, is all that matters.

And I save on the cost of unnecessary cases and pocket space too!

I've gone abit over kill with mine and have it inside an Otter box defender. I spend a lot time a factory so gona look after it as it's got to last 2 years!

I've lost count of how many times i've dropped my 3GS, I'm not naturally clumsy at all, but over 2 years it's had it's share of abuse, still works perfectly fine, only a few scratches

Normally dropped onto carpet though, i'm not very tall either. Has fallen out my pocket onto concrete whilst crouched down a few times though, still fine (:

the 4 is far less sturdy than the 3gs though. thing glass on back and front

ive seen a drunk lad throw his 3g across the road to proove ''its the toughest phone in the world'' it somehow remained unscathed

Is the unfortunate side effect of having glass hard enough that it is unlikely to scratch, is brittle.

The 3GS makes a gorgeous sound when dropped on hard surfaces though, is such a solid sound - like a pebble on the beach.
