Going out costs

Just curious...

How much do you "usually" spend on a night out? (drinks no food)

Need to stop starting rounds when no-one else is going to join in

£80 or so on a relatively local night, including taxis and food. £120+ in a city.

£0 im sad and dont go on nights out but im married also so dont really need to.

i dont drink either though , me and my wife prefer doing other things like taking the kids out for the day with the money most people would spend on alchohol

normally £50 max,

but i live a 2 mins walk from the only club in town lol

Depends on what I want to do, if i'm going out on a full blown bender with drinks every 20-30 mins I can spend anything upto £70, but normally only about £50.

I only need about 2 drinks, and I'm anybody's.

So, about £5. £10 if I'm being posh.

Well the most ive ever spent is £70, most of my friends are student so theyre cheap nights out

and all live in same area so taxi is usually £5, I dont usually get slaughtered and drink quite slowly :/ so im usually merry by the time most of them are really drunk and then go home or to someone's house.
Just me but I dont really enjoy drinking that much so thats why I dont spend that much, but still love to go out socialising so its cheaper for me

Student nights out when drinks are £1 I usually leave spending £40 - £45 including £10 taxi fare and £3 club entry.

Anywhere between £3 and £20 (we take it in turns to drive and i'm not that heavy a drinker)

£25 local and £40 in town ( get 3am bus )

the usual....

get to bar - buy round for close friends...
buy round of shots for table (can easily be £35+)
buy silly drinks for best mate (jagerbombs etc)
and generally buying more drinks than other people (I need to stop this!)

Easy to go through £100 without trying I find

Who on earth sticks to beer all night? Can't dance with more than 12 pints inside you, be too bloated. Move to spirits before double figures.

Yep I find 5-6 pints is good to begin a night then move on to spirits and cocktails, this is when it starts to get expensive.
