I have done the same (Vista 32bit here), I read this was the optimum with Vista. I have 2 x 320Gbyte F1's and I'm really impresssed so far. My first time with Vista too, but I did install XP first and that was good too, easily as responsive as when I had a single 36 GB Raptor some years ago.

Mind you the PC spec has moved on a bit. The Raptor was in an AMD64 3500/1Gbyte/nForce 3 system, now I have a Q6600/4Gbyte DDR2/P5Qpro so I would expect things to be a bit better!

You should have used 32K on Vista for all round use (16-32k)

I still use a 74GB Raptor with a Q6600 setup. Puts my 320gb F1 to shame as a os drive. If you are using raid 0 with F1s, use as small a partition as possible if you have something else for date, progs and so on. Less movement for the drive heads if your after preformance.

I was thinking of this as i don't really need nearly a 600gig c drive, i have a 500 gig for backup stuff, so maybe set a 100 gig patrician for C drive is the answer.
