going rate for FOcus ST calipers?

I paid £180 iirc for mine. Got a whole set of discs pads and the guy randomly chucked in the Focus ST hubs with mine too, which sold nicely for £80 on ebay :P Somewhere around £200 seems the going rate for second hand ones nowadays.

would the £200 include discs and pads? Think I would prefer to buy new......What should I offer for just the calipers? (sorry If I've missunderstood and you meant £200 for just calipers)

Unless they are special, second hand OEM discs and pads aren't worth much IMO, I just can't see the demand for them.

Wouldn't hurt to see if you could get them thrown in, though. Might make a useful spare if you ever get stuck.

I will ask the question. There's a guy on the FocusST owners forum breaking an ST and he's looking for offers on bits. I didn't know what to ask. I'm going to get new pads and disks anyway.

They were just chucked in, I would say £200 without discs and pads would be a good deal, I think I got very lucky, go in at £150 or maybe lower and see what he says, depends what how clued up he is about prices.

cool....will see how it goes. It's going to end up costing me £300 for disks and pads, plus £150-£200 for calipers for my ST220. £500 for complete brake upgrade for my car isn't bad I guess.....considering I was looking at £320 from ford to replace my sticking OEM caliper, new disks and pads.

Discs and pads £300? You can get OEM discs from fordpartsuk for £85. I got Ferodo DS2500 for the front of mine which are an expensive pad, and they were only £145. So a good 25% saving on the price you have there, for a very good pad and good quality oem discs. Don't forget to sell your old calipers, and whilst you're doing that may as well upgrade to braided hoses!

I've ordered some ST220 disks (grooved) and yellow stuff pads from EBC. That came to around £235 but the focus versions come to around £305. I could get standard disks which would be around £100 but still £200ish for disks and pads.

One of my current calipers is knackered so i wouldn't be able to sell it on. I've got braided hoses on there at the moment but I'm assuming they wouldn't fit the focus calipers?
