See now, as for the darkness, I have no expexctations so will probably enjoy it more :D

I never hype my self up for games these days, just buy on random moments and it makes it so much better :D

As for the pot noodle robert, you need to see your GP after it... Dodgy little pots of ****

Orange box is great, but don't get WaW. Its no where near as good as cod4. Especially the multiplayer. (They are made by different companies)

Never played the other one.
 
The Orange box is amazing value, so many memories from HL2 its a superb game.

As said (both in this thread and all over teh internetz) Portal is so fun, even though its short its an awesome gaming experience - something a little different.
 
Orange Box is good, a bargain for hte amount of game time in it. The Darkness is brilliant, and I havent played World at War but its Call of Duty so its going to be half good. So all in all, three decent games. Enjoy.
 
I've heard 360 owners and PS3 owners saying The Darkness is a good game. I should really play it I've owned it for ages but never got round to playing it.
 
Well, as expected, the Orange Box is a bargain, had a laugh on portal last night, at lvl 19 within 45 mins though! Worth it :D

Played 10 mins of HL2:EP2 and wow, graphics are something amazing for the age of the engine that game runs on :D

The Darkness is VERY odd, me and my mate have no idea what to think of it, wether we love it or not.... She said it is very dark and kind of in the set of the game wants you to feel powerful! The light thing though is getting annoying and I have barely even played more than a hour of it!

Also, I have no idea what/when to use my tenticles??? Should I use them 24/7 in a stealth sort of way? Or should I just go round guns blazing?

The game gets a lot more interesting when you get more powers. I went around all guns blazing cos ammo is plentiful and when you get the impaler and black hole skills its a lot of fun :)
 
I always used to scout ahead using my crawling thing. You can get quite far providing you keep eating the hearts of the guys you kill as slither along.
