Going to replay through HL2, what mods ?

Damn, I thought CM3 was the latest which I installed yesterday. Reading the notes for CM3 I'm sure it said something about HDR which I did not notice running in game so I will try out 9.5
 
Christ they're not small downloads are they?! I only seem to be getting about 70kbps down from clans4u, so I wont be playing it anytime today :(

tried these at home and work, neither working. lol, not having much luck.

TheVoice links work for me at home, but I only have a 1mb connection! Whereas at work we have 100mb :D
 
I played a couple of hours last night and wow, this mod is so so good. Some of the textures are frigging huge and detailed so some lower textures do tend to stand out like the hover craft thing. Apart from HDR lighting and new textures I see that atmospheric effects and pixel shading have been added.

One of the best games has just got better. Well worth the download and a must for anyone who has HL2 plus the 2 episodes (they are needed for the mod to work).

Oh thats disappointing, i dont have the extra episodes :(
 
Just spend all weekend download these!

Whats the install procedure?

Do i need HL2 plus EPs1+2?
Then install

Base
HDR
then 9-9.5?

Looking forward to playing this again

Man that video looked amazing. I read about it in Pc Zone last week, but actually seeing it for real is great. I cant wait to play the game again! Massive credit to the people who devote countless hours making these conversions/mods
