Going to the cinema by yourself?

I've done it before. Usually pick a film that is gonna be quiet, and you can guarantee that half the people in it are also on their own!

Nor do I. When people go to cinema, they don't look at whom other people come with. They concentrate on their own group or selves. no one looked at me for coming on my own.

Infact, I might just go on my own again to watch Stormbreaker

It's fine, but bring a second coat and drape it across the seat next to you, to stop fat people sitting next to you.

Going to the cinema on your own sounds verrry boring, you'll have no one to whisper questions etc too..
Or maybe thats just me that does that, VERY annoying. Yes, sounds like me.

I have been a few times to the cinema on my own, its great you can go when you want, eat when you want, go into the cinema when you want and you dont get people asking you questions or moaning.

I went during the day and it was quiet and there was a few people on there own.

You watch DVDs on your own so why not watch a movie on your own.

But........why? Is there some kind of social obligation to attend a movie with mates or a date? How about going because you want to see the movie? There's a million and one reasons you might be on your own.

Dare I say I actually prefer going to the cinema on my own (only during the day when it's quiet), but I like films a lot : (

I prefer going to see action films / comedies with my friends, but when it comes to a film I really want to see, and there is nobody willing to go, I enjoy the film as much if i go alone. I usually keep quiet in the cinema anyway and I don't see it as a social outing : [
