Going to University in Australia?

Thank you for all the replies and information. It gives me some ideas to consider.

I wasn't aware scholarships or sponsorship would apply to overseas students.

I am currently on a Access Course to go to Uni next year to study Physiotherapy.

I have 3 uni's close currently but was looking at the option of a long distance one or a inter-continental one as I want to live in Australia anyway.

Uni in Aus is pretty expensive unless, as said, you can get scholarships and so forth. I know people who went their on exchange as part of their undergraduate degree in the UK, but I don't know how common exchanges to Aus are/the slots will be pretty competitive to get I think...

Isn't Erasmus just inside Europe?

Erasmus is just the EU and 5 neighbouring countries.

I currently have a house with about £50k spare once mortgage is paid off (only doing 2 or 3 year mortgages because something might crop up.... my mortgage deal finishes next year! lol). So i'll hopefully have some capital spare.
