I saw the needles thread and it gave me a thought

Do i need to get some jabs before i go to Turkey for 2 weeks?

If so, how n when etc etc

I didn't when I went during spring time a few years ago. Though if you've not had many in recent years then your GP may be able to look through your record and suggest something (trousers down or up lol).

If you're in Western Turkey you'll be fine, I went without jabs. Eastern Turkey towards Iraq, I'm not sure. But I doubt you're going over that way anyway?

No jabs required for Turkey but do buy some good quality deet spray on arrival as the mosquitos are bad this year.

Nothing required for Turkey. Nice place just dont stop and talk to the hasslers a quick "no thanks" and continue walking :) Also good value at the moment money wise due to the exchange rate.

Yeah it gets a bit annoying telling all the restaurant people 'no' everytime. I think this is more of a cultural thing rather than rudeness, the people in Turkey are some of the friendliest I've ever met, you'll love it Thorpy.
