BBC don't seem to be able to distinguish reporting netanayahu (accused war criminals) comments on these attacks what has he got to do with it.

Netanyahu has repeatedly conflated the State of Israel and being Jewish.

There have been plenty of Jewish people on protests against Israel's actions in Gaza, an obvious example of how this is not the case.

There's no excuse for an attack like this no matter the 'reason' the attacker believes there is.

Heck, even Israel have trouble considering that they declare ANY criticism of Israel as anti-semitic. If they can't be honest about it then...


As for the attack - people are stupid and it means innocents get hurt. Blaming all Jews for, what is likely linked to Israel/Middle East, is like blaming all Russians for what Putin is doing in Ukraine. Stupid

The funny thing about these threads is that they always have the same posters, there are hardly any comments expressing sympathy for whoever has been attacked but there are lots of comments about who is to blame which is then blown in to a wider axe grinding sessions before posters can't play nicely and get suspended or the thread is locked.

In hindsight it is not funny in the slightest.
 
It's myopic to pretend there isn't a wider context as politicians attempt to do, since they have no answers - address the cause not the symptoms.
Sarah Mullally at least tries to dissociate the CofE with child abuse, but the board of jews were prevented doing similar wrt to genocide ( ie. not in our name.)

people are all sympathied out - just exasperated.

British Jews are largely european in origin and very few are middle eastern. As there are few deserts in our major conurbations, i think that you are wrong. However i do agree that continued street demonstrations on behalf of one side are tiresome and have little affect. My sympathies are with people just getting on with life and being endangered by people and events they have no control over.

I've given up. The gov has made it repeatedly and very abundantly clear that they give zero ***** about the inhabitants of this country, all they care about is votes and our perception on the global stage. I'm convinced that Starmer would happily burn down an orphanage for a pat on the back from other nations.

What are you actually expecting to happen? During a given year how many people get stabbed, Jewish or not. You can't protect everyone all of the time. It sounds like police patrols have been stepped up, it sounds like in all of the recent cases people have been arrested. Are you expecting a minority report solution to come out?
 
Police have released body cam footage of the arresting officers. I wont link, buts its on the BBC live page.
The two officers have done well under the circumstances in all fairness(given they are not armed response units). Hats off to them.

Running towards someone they knew was armed and damgerous and who potentially had explosives...yup, balls of steel.
