What was wrong with it?
I don't understand why people are being so wilfully ignorant. I'm not supporting attacks on Jews - I don't support attacking anyone at all.
I heard on the radio this morning, of course, that Antisemitism is on the rise...of course it is. We have a Jewish nation state waging war on a whole religious group. How do you think they're going to react?
It doesn't help that Israel itself constantly conflates Israel and Judaism!
The UK is not doing enough to combat Antisemitism, but by the same token it's not doing enough to combat Islamophobia, and is in many cases encouraging it - particularly in the ongoing support of Israel's war on Islam.
I am smart enough not to directly conflate Israel and the Jewish faith, but Israel very clearly defines itself as Jewish and appears to act as a source of Jewish violence against Islam.
None of this is difficult to comprehend. Not of it is good. But if we bury our heads in the sand and act like we don't know why it's happening, we're not going to solve anything.
Loads and loads, now they have the same rights as you and me. They are as British as you. This guy should have been deported years ago. How many more of him have we let in and given citizenship to?
The absolute state of the hypocrisy in this thread.
Let's get one thing straight - the scumbag who stabbed two innocent blokes in London deserves the full weight of the law, there is absolutely no excuse for it. But watching some of you guys suddenly pretend to care about the sanctity of human life when you've spent the last six months cheering on the Zionist project while it levels city blocks and wipes out thousands of civilians is genuinely nauseating.
You can't have it both ways. You can't be "tough on terror" when it's a bloke with a knife on our streets, but turn a blind eye to state-sanctioned murder just because the UK government signs off on it. Human life is human life. If you only care about the victims when it suits your politics, you don't actually care about justice at all.
You're right about the geopolitical context, but you're giving the attacker too much credit.
I have zero love for the Zionist project, what's happening over there is abhorrent and the UK's complicity in it is a disgrace to human rights, but conflating the murderous actions of a foreign state with two innocent blokes walking down a street in North London is exactly what the state of Israel wants people to do. They want to tie the religion to their state violence.
Being anti-Zionist means standing up for human life across the board. Stabbing random people on the street isn't "resistance" it's murder. **** this guy and his ******** attack, keep the pressure on the actual government enabling the slaughter abroad!
A knifeman who terrorised staff at a kosher supermarket has been spared a prison sentence by a judge.
Gabriel Abdullah, 34, was arrested in January after storming a Golders Green shop with a large blade and demanding to hear people’s views on “Israel and Palestine".
Though police initially treated the attack as a hate crime, he was charged with affray and possession of a knife.
A man who attacked a Quran-burning protester with a knife in central London to ‘protect [his] religion’ has avoided jail time despite pleading guilty to the assault. Instead, Moussa Kadri, has been given a 20-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, 150 hours of unpaid work and 10 days of rehabilitation.
In case you were unaware the UK wasn't bombing Gaza nor did we have troops there - to claim that the UK turned a blind eye to it is a lie as the UK clearly didn't do that and in fact placed sanctions on two Israeli Government ministers.
More the petty bickering going in on between the usual suspectsWhat was wrong with it?
I thought that was because of the Saudis primarily making up the numbers, if we're talking about 9/11?. Don’t forget Palestinians are the reason we have airport security, they had a habit of hijacking or blowing up planes.British people being more concerned about what is happening their streets and to their people is entirely normal. The majority of us have zero links to Gaza, don’t want to go there and don’t have much in common with the people there
For such a small group of people the list of achievements is truly remarkable, they even have their own wiki:
I thought that was because of the Saudis primarily making up the numbers, if we're talking about 9/11?
You know, why we did nothing whatsoever to Saudi Arabia.
E: I appreciate the window blinds have to be up because of earlier hijacks but that's hardly the 'security' we deal with now.
Ah ha. The reason window blinds have to be up then.I believe he was talking about the rash of plane hijackings in the seventies by the PLO and fellow travellers, Baader Meinhof, Carlos the Jackel etc., etc.
Mental health professionals decided not to detain the Nottingham triple killer Valdo Calocane despite a violent incident in 2020, after they considered research that addressed the over-representation of young black men in custody, a public inquiry has been told.
Calocane, who has paranoid schizophrenia, fatally stabbed 19-year-old students Barnaby Webber and Grace O’Malley-Kumar, and 65-year-old Ian Coates, and severely injured three others on 13 June 2023.
A nurse has admitted to a public inquiry that she made errors in the records of a mentally ill man before he went on to kill three people in a spate of attacks.
Valdo Calocane, who was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, stabbed to death Barnaby Webber, Grace O'Malley-Kumar and Ian Coates, and tried to kill three others, in Nottingham on 13 June 2023.
Calocane was under the care of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) from 2020 but was discharged due to a lack of engagement nine months before the attacks.
On Monday at the Nottingham Inquiry, external, mental health nurse Busayo Ajewole admitted her notes were at times lacking information, copied and pasted and fundamentally wrong.
Calocane first presented to NHFT with symptoms of psychosis in May 2020, after he broke into a neighbour's flat where he lived at Brook Court in Radford, Nottingham.
Between then and February 2022, he had six Mental Health Act assessments which led to four hospital admissions.
The inquiry was shown risk assessment forms from that period, which showed a series of incorrect information.
He's going to get them rent boys and Mandelson on the case!I wouldn't worry, Starmer held a Cobra meeting, he'll have it sussed in no time.
