I've fitted a Parrot bluetooth hands free kit to a VW Golf GTI Turbo Mk4 ('99). During the installation I had to remove the interior light unit (the one fitted just above the rear view mirror) and in doing so I boke the switch that controls what setting the interior light is on (either constant or when the doors are opened)

Since the installation the remote central locking doesn't work (the central locking can be activated via the key or by pressing the button on the door) The electric windows don't work on either door and the interior lights don't work at all (Including the map reading lights)

Are these problems all directly related to the broken interior light circuit?

Thanks

More than likely. The interior light fades in and fades out when you unlock the doors via the fob. Windows, i'm not sure about, other interior lights. Yes.
