Golf mkV window problem

Kind of an odd one this. Parked up at home, bit later on I looked out and all the windows were fully down. When I left the car they were definitely all up and im pretty sure I locked it when I left it.

Has anyone heard of this problem before, and idea of a cure??

Probably water in the electrics somewhere. Check the passenger footwell for signs of water...that's where the module that controls that stuff is.

If you hold down the unlock button on your keys the windows will go down. Maybe the button got stuck down in your pocket or something? If you hold down the lock button, the windows will go back up

think this is actually a common problem on the golfs as happened to mine a couple of times then it never happened again

Turns out the key fob was in the arse pocket of my wifes jeans.....

Looks like it is just the lock/unlock button.

had it happen a few times on my wifes tiguan. Once when i was in a supermarket and i came out to discover not only the windows all open but as it was raining .. a soggy car
