Golf Progress Thread

Disappointing weekend of golf. Only managed to get to the range as the course was closed Saturday and I avoided golf on Sunday because I didn't want to turn up early and find its closed again. Fingers crossed the weather picks up soon.
 
Had a driver fitting this morning and it looks like I will be ordering one

Callaway Great Big Bertha was the club that gave me the best results

I also hit the new Nike, Titleist, M1, M2, G30 but the GBB was the club that stood out the best
 
I had a lesson tonight and asked him to have a look at my driver. As expected it isn't fitted right for me. Originally it was fitted for me when I first started but my swing has improved a lot since then.

Hit the new Vapor Fly and my god, I want that club :p

I was the opposite, I hit the Nike and it just sounded and felt horrible to me, as did the Titleist 915

It came down to the M2 and Great Big Bertha for me and the GBB just pipped it overall due to the extra adjustability over the M2 (I did hit the M1 but it didn't feel right for me compared to the M2)
 
Nice. I definitely like the Blue but I would have liked for them to make the Volt colour a main product for their drivers. Nothing like a bright yellow stick in the bag!

Played 9 holes this weekend and was a steady round considering I couldn't get my driver going. 17 Points from the 9 so I will take that with the weather we have had to deal with.
 
A pretty steady weekend of Golf having not played a great deal recently. Stableford comp on Saturday shooting a 34 off of 8. Then Sunday shot a 32 off of 3. Long irons and fairway woods seem to be letting me down recently which is putting me in some silly positions but I feel some good scoring coming on soon!
 
Golf game not going well at all. Played on Saturday and shot 98. Nearly walked off after hitting 19 on the first 3 holes but pulled it back with 3 pars in a row. Didn't get any better from there.

Seemed to have lost all confidence in my driving game so not hitting it with any power. Just trying to get it to go straight.

Oh well, still a fun game with buddies but best not taken too seriously :p
 
Been collecting some game golf data of the last few months the system is really good.

Would recommend it to people looking to improve there game

Nearly all my new gear has arrived (last Friday) just awaiting my M2 3 wood. Will do a whats in the bag when it I have it all (probably a new bag too) I have an M2 Driver with a 75g Aldila Tour Green stiff flex shaft, same will be in the M2 3 wood. M2 4 Hybrid 85g Stiff shaft Fuji Speeder. PSi irons 4-PW with KBS Tour stiff 90g shafts 3 degree upright and 1/2 inch longer. Had a play with them last week and oh my do the irons go well. Will just need a bit of time to get used to the driver which has been going slightly left but I believe that's just me wanting to get my head up and see where the balls gone :P
 
Not a great weekend back after 3 weeks out. 25 and 29 points on Saturday and Sunday. I am excited for the clock change this weekend though as it means evening golf if on the cards after work!
