Hi All
Got to test drive the Golf R today, really liked it, lots of power through the rev range without loss of traction or grip. The test car had the nav and 19"s but no DCC. Smooth Suspension without being jarring over bumps and pot holes. I tested all the modes, comfort, race and normal and could not see much of a difference except noise.. :) Just wish i had more of an open road to attack with it :)

I saw one a few days ago and I laughed. I honestly thought it was some barryboy who had stuck quad pipes on a GTI. Sheesh, didn't know they were actually factory fit.
 
Had some nob in a golf R try and race me on the A329m dual carriageway today. Sums them up for me. Think they are the next M135i i.e. The worlds greatest car amongst owners.
 
As above, 4 exhausts look ridiculous (one per cylinder, really?) and I'm not a fan of the paintjob either, that colour doesn't do it for me.
I've not seen the interior and I know they're silly fast but a bit of subtlety would go a long way IMO.
