Hi,
Been looking around online for a rowing machine and with so much choice i'm just quite confused now.
Anyone recomend a good one for possibly around £150?

Already have treadmill, dumbells, weights bench...... so now i want a rowing machine aswell.

Edit: argos have got some treadmills on offer, makes such as roger black/everlast/york. would they be worth looking at?

You won't get one that's worth getting in that price range I'm afraid. I looked into it extensively last year, and the only machine I found that was good value below the Concept2 was the Tunturi R60, which I got for £450. Pretty much everything else just isn't worth it.

I agree with this, I couldn't get an R60 (I think that's what the alternative was at the time) for a decent price here so I got a C2.

For £150 I'd buy a pair of trail running shoes to be honest.

im going to be blunt with you, but if your looking at argos for "good" gym equipment, then im fairly confident that all your gym equipment is "cheap" tbh. sometimes you can get really good stuff for cheap if you know what your doing, but the fact your looking at argos suggests you don't.

the above thread should verify i know what i'm talking about in regards to equipment, i too want a "good" rower but i can't afford it atm because it's going to cost me £1K minimum and i've already spent several thousands of pounds on my home gym.

what is it that your looking to achieve? why do you want a rower? any goals or targets you have? do you have a gym membership? if not, why not?

Only indoor rower worth buying is Concept 2. Try the classifieds for second hand ones. A friend got one for £250 recently. You sometimes see them at auction when gyms are clearing out old ones too.
