I do not understand the whole Forum life Vs real life. Theres are huge gaps in real life (no matter how popular/active you are) filled by Tv and other mundane things by normal people, i on the other hand fill it with Forum time and computer games.

I think you are all reading the post wrong.

He is saying he has met some people from these forums in real life at a meet once and that they were awesome.

He isn't leaving the forums because he has made friends in real life its beacause of an undisclosed reason, and that he needs to do more Uni work. Or at least thats the way I read it.
