good cooler for q6600

Word of warning on the Tuniq (from experience).

If you use the sticky pad that comes with the back plate - then that back plate is a devil to get off again once the Tuniq has been fitted and tigtened. If you can't get the back plate off you probably can't fit another cooler on the mobo. Its a tribute to my MSI motherboard it still works after all the scratches and slices I made getting that damned plate off.

If you assemble out of the case make very sure the Tuniq fits once its in the case and before you tighten up.

ATM Ive got 1 Sharkoon on the same cooler as you on my E6600. What made you get 2 fans? Have you tried it with 1 fan and if so any temp. differences?
Hi footman,

Only 2-3 degrees difference TBH. Probably would be even less with your e6600 as it won't be stretching the cooler.

I'd just stick with one fan for the moment. :)

I have a Scythe Andy Samurai Master on my q6600 and it keeps it at 28C idle. Was a bugger to get one corner to clip in (got a few cuts and scrapes trying to contort my hand around the block) but its almost completely silent.
