Good DS games?

I have a nintendo DS but only 2 games with it, pokemon white and super mario bros, what other good games are there apart from them? The only ones i can seem to find are kid games :/ Not really interested in brain training either.
 
What kind of games do you like?

Off the top of my head I'd recommend The Phoenix Wright games, Final Fantasy IV, the Zelda games, Mariokart and Pokemon Heartgold/Soulsilver.

I'll have a look at them. Thanks, and i like any really. Just want some new games but the only ones i seem to find are brain traning and animals :/
 
Most deffinately agree with the Phoenix Wright games. Worthy of getting a DS just for them!!

I would also highly recommend the often overlooked Super Scribblenauts (the sequal to Scribblenauts) - Some of the puzzles are worthy of great minds and the creativity can be absolutely hilarious! I laughed loud on the train many times :P
 
I cannot believe you do not already have Mario Kart!

Surely people went out and bought the DS just for that game when it first came out (I did!)!

I liked The World Ends with You, was a decent RPG along with Golden Sun: Dark Dawn and the Dragon Quest series

Edit: Forgot about Chrono Trigger as well

The DS has an excellent libery of games, off the top of my head I would recommend

Phoenix Wright 1,2 and 3
Goldeneye DS
Hotel Dusk
Last Window (sequel to Hotel dusk)
Sonic Rush ( if you like old school sonic games)
 
Nobody going to post professor Layton???!! :O

If not then I'd definitely recommend the Professor Layton series, for puzzle games they really are fantastically layed out, presented and polished! can't wait for the 3DS versions to start rolling out :D.

Also Phoenix Wright, Zelda, Mario Kart, Galaxy Wars, Pokemon, Castlevania, Tetris, The world ends with you, Dragon Quest, Chrono trigger, GTA chinatown.

It really is one of the best Handhelds ever made, I'm was considering selling my 3DS just to get a cheap DS because it's such a cheap system and the games are really good, I think the console world sometimes should take a page from the handheld book.
 
Whats GTA Chinatown like? There the sort of games i like, was looking at zelda and final fantasy aswell, really don't like the look of the phoenix wright games though. Thanks for all the suggestions :)

It's ace !! they did a fantastic job of capturing the feel of the GTA games. I honestly don't think they could have done a better job with the DS.

The Zelda games are good too, well worth getting.

So many great DS games, most of which are mentioned above. If you like RPG's I definitely recommend Dragon Quest IX (along with the IV-VI remakes).
