It may take me like 4 months or more to afford a kick butt CPU like a 4400+ or a 175 opty. I've been thinking of getting a cpu like a AMD 64 3700 so I can use my PC while I save my pennys. :D

Do any of you guys think this is a good idea or have ever done things like this in the past?

Believe me I want to save but I've been without a PC for months now and it's tearing me apart. I guess any hardcore gamer that has to go with out their PC for ages will know what I'm going through. I'm getting the shakes. :D

I could get the 3000 and save for a few months I bet I could get £50 for it on MM when I done with it as it'll only be a few months old.

I bought a retail 3200 for 108 pounds It's may be a low end cpu but there's still a big difference between that and my old 2.8Ghz northwood. Well that and the fact im not using a 9800pro any more.

I think that old 9800 pro was a great card.
