Increase over what  It's easy to tell where you copy/pasted that from, and i'm sure they a competitor.

As for performance, it'll be fine
icon14.gif

CSS you should deffenitly be able to play at max, not that much of an intensive game, someone with an X1900XTX and 3ghz Pentium 4 gets an average of 105fps, I get 190fps in text all max, you will probs get around 90fps? so deffenitly ok, but even with my setup with the 8800GTS, on max, 16xAF 16xQ AA I drop down to like 35fps in lots of gunfire + lots of smoke.

The system you just pasted is definitely a waste of money.

Give me your budget and I'll spec you something much better for the price.

I would spend a little more on the graphics card.

As stated above, post your budget and one of us will spec you a better gaming machine.

looks like from dell direct

my mum has a dell, so does my dad, their prices for a full system are actualy very good, i offered them to buy all the components and build it my self, when they bought theirs, it wasent much more!

They're good for cheap systems/laptops I'll grant you, but if you want a gaming machine theres no need to spend their prices. You can always get a new machine that'll play all the games out for around £600 by building it yourself. (In my experience anyway -I've certainly never spent more than that.)

Buying pre-built saves you some fuss and you get better warranties, but you pay a lot more for it.

Also that spec has a 17" screen, its not big enough really. Should be looking to go 22"+ as they are so cheap now. I would rather buy the bits seperate and wait a bit longer so i could get a bigger screen, couldnt play or use a 17" they are like postage stamps :)

this is from OCUK, is it worth the money for a gaming pc? is the mouse any good?

its £1800 quid from Dell, worth it, please spec me a better one.

 Definatly not worth it then. I'm not good at speccing new systems, but i'm sure someone could get you a LOT more for the money pretty soon.

lol I see you found it just as I was posting!

It's far superior to the Dell, and comes overclocked for even more performance.

£1800?! You've got to be kidding...

The ultima system posted above will defecate on the Dell from a large height. The 8800GTX graphics card will give you 2 or 3 times the framerate of the 7800GS in the Dell, at least. Also, the OcUk system comes pre-overclocked and since you appear to be new to all this that will be a big benefit (not really very hard to do it yourself, but you need a certain background knowledge to do it comfortably).
