Good ( FAST ) AVI Cut & Paste app ?

Im looking to do a bit of cutting and pasting on a couple of AVI Files.

The only app I have ( That I think I have? ) is VirtualDub & VDubMOD

Trouble is, the last time I remember trying to use those ( Its been a while ) they took 500 years to save the AVI file, so I never bothered.

Anyone got any recommendations please?

VirtualDub is fast, you just have to make sure you use "direct stream copy"

Ok, what about Codecs?

The thing is, that since using Koream Media player, I have not needed to install any codecs anymore, and I dont fancy having to install codecs just to edit a few files.

VDUB does not seem to know the files I am trying to edit?
