If you can afford it, buy an Logitech G7 mouse. I own one and its a great mouse, the best I have ever had, its works effortless, the DPi changes are great you have upto 5 different levels. The battery lasts about 10 hours and takes a few seconds to change for continuous gaming/ working.

:)

I used to have a G5 but went back to my old MS intellimouse, was more comfortable to hold and noticed no difference in response speed

Razer Pro Mouse often gets sold cheap, I guess its because people think its a mac mouse, Its not.... got mine from the fleab really cheap great mouse for the dosh

I would go for the G5 from experience. Using a copperhed right now and its an amazing mouse. G5 is more comfortable and slightly heavier.

As I've said in other posts if you do a quick search on my name;

Deathadder or MX518, nothing else compares in the two price ranges.

DONT go laser, they are not up to par with optical.

I'm confused, why don't OcUK stock MX518s. They're by far the most popular optical mouse chosen amongst gamers. :confused:

Imo dont look at any others except the G5 (or maybe G7), Habu & DeathAdder. There really is nothing in it between the three other than price, and if you go on that then Habu would be the wise choice. ;)

I use the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 as its the most comfortable mouse I've used. Have the G5 at work and don't like it at all. If I used it enough and got used to its shape I'd probably change my mind.

I gave up on wireless mice, way too much hassle. Been using a 518 for a while now and love it. You can change the resolution with the touch of a button and it's very resposive.
