I can imagine. My parents had a timeshare at the Whitewater Hotel (by the Motor Museum), it always seemed a bit boring as a kid, but if i'm ever around there now i love it
I remember the Whitewater hotel being built.. there is a tiny bridge over the river next to it, as kids we used to jump off that in to the river! I see they've now got signs everywhere warning against tomb stoning...
As kids there isn't much to do, we went off over the hills and rambled around making dens out of bracken etc.. that is until my Dad bought us a trials bike.. I competed in a few around the lakes and bumped in to the Lampkins (I remember seeing Dougie as a baby!)
