Good Joystick?

Hey everyone,
I'm getting back into Flight Sim again, and I am thinking about upgrading my joystick [Saitek AV8R] for something a bit fancier.

I've always wanted a yoke, are they worth it? I'm going to get the latest Combat Flight Sim soon, which I guess you wouldn't use a yoke for, so maybe I should get a new joystick first? I do like Saitek gear, but what else is out there, I want your opinions!

If you look for the Freespace 2 thread by Richdog there was some good talk of joysticks near the end that will probably help you.

I've got a Saitek Cyborg Evo at the moment. It's good for flight sims although, as we were discussing, it's not the best for fine and precise use in some combat situations, partly due to the general tension of the stick's spring. Check out the thread though as people were talking about the various ones tried and used.
