Good Mouse ???

+1 for the Logitech G9(x).

The warranty on Logitech mice is second to none. Had a faulty one 5+ years ago (left click button contact was a bit dodgy right near the end of the warranty), they got me to break the mouse with a hammer so it was unusable and send them a pic. As they didn't stock that mouse anymore they sent me a new G9 which was about twice the price of the one i destroyed at the time.

Also breaking the mouse with a hammer was actually quite a task, they are made of stern stuff.

best customer service ever although it does make sense, you break it so you cant use it anymore, saves you and them money not having to post the broken mouse to them they only have to post a new one to you

This is completely wrong lol. Most "pro" gamers use optical mice like the microsoft intellimouse, mx518, g400 and deathadder. Also my deathadder is optical and can do 6400 dpi so I don't know where you got your information from.

I think they do 3200dpi atm on the opticals but they probably get 6400 through interpolation, like they do on the lasers to get the crazy high figures - though what good such high dpis are I don't know as I prefer somewhere low-to-mid.
