I have a Roccat Kone + at the moment, but it's starting to fail.

Can you recommend me a replacement? I had a 'feel' of a Razer Naga which i was impresssed with but had too many buttons on the side. Is there anything similar with less buttons?

I play FPS games like BF3 and Arma 3 mostly.

Cheers

Sensei RAW has my vote 100%. Flawless mouse for me, don't know how the Naga feels but I had a Lachesis in the long and distant past which suffered from awful sensor problems. I kept using it for years because I liked the shape so much so if there's some similarity there with the Naga, you should try the Sensei :)

Zowie mice are really nice but the dpi button is underneath the mouse.

Sensai raw is supposed to be nice never tried one though.

Razer deathadder 2013 is a superb mouse but very pricey.

Razer mouse with me made the wire bit in the mouse curved and it would make the mouse switch off or on depending on angle it is moved over time.

If your looking for a sturdy mouse as far as i know try http://www.x7.cn/en/product.asp?id=10 .

I have the x 748k mouse.

I have had this mouse over a year and with the usual treatment it has lasted over 1 year.

The mouse i got is a good mouse but the razer mice i used to buy just didn't seem to last long enough due to it's thin wire plus they are about £25 more on average than this mouse.

I forgot to mention even though the x 748k came with a complete set of mouse weights unlike the razer mice which did not come with any.

I've not checked out any Sensei mice, after a quick google they do get good reviews so it'll be on the list.

The Deathadder is up there too, but i've never used one. Are they comfortable to use?

The Roccat kone is awesome, I tried a few mice in pc world and nothing came close to it. I would consider a kone XTD if the build quality has improved.

Hey Martyn,

The Deathadder has been through a few revisions in ergonomics so yes it is comfortable, but then it depends on the type of mouse player you are if you are a palm player or claw, if your palm this will be great.

In regard to the Roccat Kone mouse, people keep coming back to us for build quality and issues with connectivity, but then again most mice if these problems but then I think it comes down to the build quality but that is just my opinion.

I bought my Deathadder in May and it is very comfortable. Thankfully Razer Synapse has improved since I bought it because the buttons are surprisingly useful.

If it helps you choose, my original DeathAdder is still working 100% fine.

When did I place the order for it?

12/27/06, yup, almost 7 years ago

I've replaced the feet once for about £2.50

I worked from home for about 5 years, so it was used EVERY day without fail, for work and gaming.

So impressed with this mouse, I'll be replacing it with a Razer for sure.

Any razer products ive had have fallen apart / stopped working despite being taken great care of. So razer are not on my hitlist anymore, i might just go for a R.A.T3

Thanks for the input guys, I've been to 4 different pc worlds to see if I can try a few but they don't put them on display anymore.
I'm quite fussy about things and don't want to spend £50-60 on one I might not like so I think I will go with another Roccat. Will be a Kone Pure optical this time though I think.

My old Boomslang was a pain after about a year. Diamondback had terrible problems. DeathAdder has been great for me :)

Well i added one to my basket but pulled out, i noticed one of the 'features' is 'Zero angle snapping/prediction'. That is something i definitely don't want so it's back to the drawing board.

EDIT: I misunderstood the spec lol, there is no prediction on this mouse, which is what i want... I may just drive up to OCUK over the weekend....
