i had a Roccat kone and went with a Roccat XTD feels a lot better made than my first one but time will tell

one thing though as its the same shape and feel as my old Roccat it did not take 2 mins to get used to

other than that if i was buying a new mouse today the logitech 602 would be a mouse i would check out but i would have to see one in the flesh but so far im quite happy with the roccat

Well i now have the Kone Pure Optical, its a lovely mouse but it's just too small. I don't have particularly large hands, i think its just the way i hold my mice. My accuracy is all to pot now, looks like all that leaves me with is another Kone+ or the Kone xtd.

Its a shame about the DA, if it had a duplicator button i would have kept that. I have become accustomed to having two functions on a each button.....

Im thinking of getting the logitech g700s. Anyone tried this mouse out?

Yep, it's my primary gaming mouse right now. In fact, I usually only switch back to my Storm Inferno when revisiting games I set that one up for.

It's very expensive, given that the Inferno was only £25, but then I won my 700s!
It's the 700 with a nicer surface, basically. Something like 8000-odd dpi, in case you use that sort of thing (I hover around 2-3000, usually).

My only dislikes are the lack of buttons (yes I know it has loads, but I always want MORE!! :D) and the concave thumb space on the left sometimes gives me cramp.

Sensei all the way. I've got the Pro but it was a replacement for a knackered XAI (which I also loved).

Get the RAW, the extra's on the Pro are not really worth it.

I think mice are like shoes, u need to try them before you buy and everybody has different hands and hold the mouse differently! i currently have G400 and love it! but giving it to the missus and getting a roccat kone! my 2nd choice would be the TT theron!

Best big mice = Logitech G400, Zowie EC1/EC2

Best smaller mice = Zowie FK

I went through about 7 mice recently and the Zowie FK is the best one.

Just a note about the Sensei: don't get it if you're sensitive to acceleration. It's possible that you won't notice it or don't mind it, but it does have 5 or so % of positive acceleration natively that you can't get rid of.

The steelseries mice felt bad to me, the sensor is not very good... It is a pixart sensor... Zowie, logitech or even deathadder have much better sensors as they have avago 3090 sensor.

One that nobody seems to have mentioned so far, Corsair M60.

I've been using it daily for the past year and a bit and it still feels like new. Nicely weighty and the buttons are all in just the right place for my oaf like hands. They're starting to drop in price a bit I've noticed too which is always a bonus, I've even been thinking about getting another one for a spare just in case the day comes when this one dies on me... (and there's an olive green one which I never knew about!)
